In the summer of 1520, Albrecht Dürer was hailed as a celebrity in Antwerp. The exquisite engravings, woodcuts and etchings he brought to market in the preceding decades had made him famous throughout Europe. More than five hundred years later, his work has lost none of its eloquence. This exhibition offers a broad overview of Dürer's graphic work and of artists such as Lucas van Leyden, Jan Gossart and Hendrick Goltzius who were inspired by his work.
It is a unique opportunity to become acquainted with rare and beautiful prints from KBR 's collection that are rarely shown because of their fragility.
