1. KARL MEERSMAN LIVE AT WORK

On the occasion of the temporary exhibition 'Karl Meersman - Dangerous Drawings - with a touch of Rops', Karl Meersman will be taking pencils and inks to work his magic on paper throughout the evening. Are you curious to see the artist live? Then be sure to drop by!

(At 19:30 - 20:30 - 21:30 - 22:30 (duration: 30 min). No reservation required).


2. DISCOVER GRAPHIC TECHNIQUES WITH ATELIER SPLINTER

What is an etching? What is relief printing? What is a burin? Or a lithograph? A mezzo! For non-experts, graphics can sometimes be an endless maze of terms and techniques. Luckily, there are the young artists of the collective Atelier Splinter to clarify! Throughout the evening, they will live it up in Museum De Reede and get to work with a variety of graphic techniques, ready to answer your questions with demonstrations.

3. SPEEDDATE WITH EDVARD MUNCH'S "THE SCREAM"

Why is Edvard Munch's "The Scream" so iconic? Why does that crazy little man cover his ears? What drove Munch to create this strange work? Are you also curious to know more about the history of this iconic work by Edvard Munch? At Museum De Reede, you will be given a crash course in 'The Scream' at 10 minutes and all the secrets of this mysterious masterpiece will be revealed concisely
